Running my own business helps me empathise with clients, which I believe allows me to offer a better service, as well as speak from experience when offering accountancy and business advice. Being a chartered accountant and chartered tax adviser helps to give clients a peace of mind that their affairs are being dealt with correctly by a competent, knowledgeable person. As part of the service, I aim to inform and educate clients, and not to obscure the practicalities of what I do.

Being a solo practice means that I'm the only person you'll deal with. This helps to ensure that I'm fully up to date with what is happening with your business. It also allows me to offer an efficient service, resulting in less hassle and lower fees. I work from home, which helps to keep my overheads low, and further contributes to being able to offer competitive fees.  

 

I genuinely find helping small and medium sized businesses enjoyable, and I get a lot of satisfaction out of seeing a business succeed. In dealing with clients, I try to see myself as a business partner, rather than as merely a compliance service.

I am a certified cloud accountant with QuickBooks and Xero. This, together with other online services such as Skype, Dropbox and SignRequest, allows me to offer an online accountancy service to companies and individuals throughout the country.
